  • Prevention first: If there are lots of scars or cysts, early use of oral Isotretinoin is indicated – move toward the use of lower doses for longer as it causes less adverse drug reactions
  • Acne scars can be treated by laser
  • Intralesional triamcinolone injections of hypertrophic scars can be effective
