Dr Sasha Taylor is a medical doctor and Research Fellow with the Women’s Health Research Program (WHRP) at the School of Public Health and Preventive Medicine, Monash University. She is in her final year of specialist training in Public Health Medicine, through the Royal Australasian College of Physicians. During her training she has undertaken a number of diverse work placements within the School, including with the Hazelwood Health Study and the Clinical Outcomes Data Reporting and Research Program. She has gained further public health experience at Department of Health supporting the Victorian public health response to COVID-19 and working in the Prevention and Population Health Branch.
Sasha is currently working with the MenoPROMPT project to develop a co-designed, comprehensive, evidenced-based program for primary care clinicians to improve the care of women at and after menopause. She also assists with the WHRP’s clinical trials evaluating the use of testosterone in postmenopausal women for outcomes such as bone health and sexual function.
